Essential RuneFest Details
When is RuneFest?
RuneFest will take place over two days, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October 2011.

Where is RuneFest?
RuneFest will be held at “Old Billingsgate” in London.
(1 Old Billingsgate Walk, City of London, Greater London, EC3R 6DX)
How do I get to RuneFest and where can I stay?
Travelling to and from RuneFest will be easy and once you get to London there are plenty of places to stay. Take a look at the Travel and Accommodation section here for more information.
Is there an age limit for RuneFest?
RuneFest 2011 is open to the entire RuneScape community although anyone aged 14 or under will need to be accompanied by an adult.
The RuneFest after party is open exclusively to RuneFest attendees aged 16 and over.
What’s the difference between Saturday and Sunday?
Some of the activities will run throughout the whole weekend, however we will also have some activities and entertainment that will be exclusive to either day. To make sure you experience everything RuneFest has to offer it would be advisable to come for the whole weekend.
Will there be RuneFest Flagstaffs this year?
Flagstaffs are so last year! But don’t worry this year attendees will still get something awesome to show off in-game.
Tickets and Event Information
How much does it cost?
Tickets go on sale from Wednesday 13 July 2011 and are £59 for a one day and £99 for the weekend (all prices include booking fees and taxes but exclude postage).
The Halloween after party costs £49 and is open exclusively to RuneFest attendees aged 16 and over. Tickets are limited so if you want to be there, you’ll need to get in quick!
If you’re looking for the ultimate experience and don’t want to miss a moment of RuneFest then there are a number of VIP tickets available. VIP tickets give you a truly individual weekend with priority seating for all presentations, private insider sessions with senior developers, signed concept art and more.
What will I be able to buy at RuneFest?
There will all sorts of food, drinks and RuneFest goodies to tempt you throughout the weekend and Halloween party.
Can I come in fancy dress?
Please do! Obviously you need to avoid bringing anything that might be seen as dangerous (sorry, no real swords/axes) and anything which could damage the venue (liquids, paints, flammable materials), but we’d love to see as many people dressed up in RuneScape costume as possible, we are even running a competition so find out more here, dress to skill!
Will there be food and drink available?
Yep! There will be a selection of amazing food and drink available to purchase throughout the day.
Can I bring a camera/video camera?
Absolutely, please do we want you to have photos to remember your day! Please note that there may be some areas where the unauthorised use of photographic or recording equipment is prohibited, but we will make it clear throughout the venue where you can/cannot take photos.
Is there WiFi access?
Yes! Free Wifi access will be available throughout the event.
Can I bring a computer?
There is no need to bring a computer to RuneFest as there will be a number of high-spec gaming computers available for your use.
Will there be disabled access to the venue?
Yes, the venue is set over several floors, and has disabled access with lifts. If you have any special requirements please contact us ahead of the event by emailing support@runefest.com.
Will there be security at the venue?
Yes, there will be a security team on-hand throughout the event to ensure everyone is safe and has a great time.
Can I leave the event and come back later?
You’ll be given a lanyard when you enter so as long as you keep that with you, you’ll be free to leave/return to RuneFest as you please.
Will there be a cloakroom?
Yes, you’ll be able to store any coats or bags in a designated area while you enjoy yourself.
Will there be quiet areas to relax in?
We know it’ll be an action-packed weekend so yes; there will be opportunities and places to relax while you’re at RuneFest.
Will there be first-aiders on hand?
Yes.
